To avoid that annoying gape that happens over the tum of a button front skirt we have made the top 4 buttons non-functional with a side entry zip. The last 4 buttons are still functional so you can adjust how far you'd like your slit and gives you the feeling of a button skirt. Impossible to tell. Genius!
